TCTSY is known as an evidence based somatic practice developed by David Emerson and Jenn Turner, with input from Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is a somatic, yoga-based approach recognised as an evidence-based clinical intervention rather than a traditional style of yoga. It is designed to gently support people of all ages and abilities in rebuilding a sense of safety and connection within their body after experiences of trauma.
