Trauma Informed Yoga Classes & Courses

Are you ready to feel more connected and at home in your own body?

Come back to your body, at your own pace

When life has taught you to stay in your head, slowing down, or simply being present and connected, it isn’t always as easy as it sounds.

My trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness and TCTSY courses offer a different approach, one rooted in choice, curiosity and connection. There’s no pressure to perform, push through or get it “right”.

Instead, you’ll be invited to explore movement, breath, mindfulness and body awareness in a way that respects your experience and allows you to discover what feels supportive for you.

The practice of yoga and mindfulness has continued to be proven through scientific research to help many different aspects of health and brain function. This is not about touching your toes or being flexible, but rather creating a safe space to reconnect with your body and calm your mind so you can feel more connect and present in your life.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Esme.

I’m a Trauma Recovery Facilitator, and my work is rooted in the belief that reconnecting with ourselves is about more than simply feeling better in our bodies.

Yoga and mindfulness can offer a way to slow down, become curious about our experience and notice what is happening within us; physically, emotionally and mentally.

My approach is trauma-informed, gentle and choice-led. Rather than striving for the “right” shape or trying (and fighting) to quiet the mind, these practices invite you to explore what feels supportive for you, at your own pace and with curiosity.

For me, yoga is not about achieving a particular shape. It’s a journey into your own experience, developing greater awareness, presence and connection with yourself, one practice at a time.
