1:1 Trauma Recovery
Tailored support online & in person to help you break free of old patterns, and start living life on your terms.
Whether you're living with anxiety, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, burnout, flashbacks or a nervous system that never seems able to switch off, you don't have to stay stuck.
Trauma, stress and fear don't just live in your thoughts. They live in your posture, your muscles, your nervous system's responses, your brain's predictions and the ways your body has learned to protect you.
Tailored support gives us the opportunity to tune into your specific needs and patterns and over time gently help your whole system learn that safety is possible again. As those old protective patterns begin to soften, you'll find more space for calm, confidence, connection and freedom.
Every session is tailored to your pace, your goals and your unique experiences, creating the conditions for meaningful, lasting change.
How we’ll work together
We'll start with a free call to talk through what's going on for you.
If you'd like to continue working together, we'll then have an in-depth consultation. Most people begin with a block of 3, 6 or 12 sessions, giving us the time and space to go as deeply as the work needs.
Every session is tailored to you, your goals and your unique experiences. Depending on what you're working through, we may draw on a combination of approaches to help you understand what's happening, work with it safely and create meaningful, lasting change.
✓ Take the emotional sting out of memories that still hijack you through Havening Techniques® and subconscious pattern work.
✓ Reconnect with your body safely, gradually and at your own pace through gentle somatic and embodied practices.
✓ Process and reframe distressing experiences using PhotoStack™, visualisation, language and guided reflection.
✓ Build greater capacity to respond rather than react through titration and pendulation, drawing on principles from Somatic Experiencing®.
✓ Develop greater awareness, perspective and self-trust through mindfulness, meditation and gentle trauma-informed yoga therapy.
Sessions are online, worldwide.
All you need in a quiet place to sit and an internet connection.
In person sessions in Hertford available by request.
Talk therapy can help you understand it. But understanding isn't always the same as change. Real change happens when your brain and body get to actually experience something different.
FAQ’s
-
Yes. Many evidence-informed approaches, including Havening Techniques®, hypnotherapy and nervous system regulation, can be delivered very effectively online. In fact, many people feel more comfortable working from their own familiar environment, which can support feelings of safety and make it easier to engage in the process. All you need is an internet connection and a quiet place to do the session.
-
Talk therapy can help you understand what happened and why you feel the way you do. 1:1 trauma recovery also works with the body and nervous system, helping you experience something different rather than simply understand it intellectually.
Sessions may combine somatic and embodied practices, nervous system regulation, memory-focused approaches, mindfulness and other techniques depending on your needs and goals.
-
No. You are never expected to share more than feels safe or comfortable for you. This work is paced gently and collaboratively, with a focus on building safety, regulation and connection within the body rather than repeatedly reliving difficult experiences.
-
Each session is tailored to you and your nervous system. Sessions often begin with gentle conversation and check in. Then we begin working on the areas of concern; we may use Havening-informed approaches, guided resourcing and grounding practices. We will often work with the imagination to cultivate feelings of safety. We may bring in breathwork, somatic awareness, pendulation/ titration, visualisation, restorative yoga, as well as practical tools to support you between sessions.
-
No. You don't need to have experienced one specific traumatic event or have a diagnosis of PTSD to benefit from trauma-informed support. We can work with the effects of difficult or overwhelming experiences, including anxiety, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, feeling disconnected from yourself, or patterns that no longer feel helpful.
We'll focus on what you're experiencing now and what you want to change, rather than trying to fit your experience into a particular label.
-
Stress, trauma and nervous system dysregulation can sometimes contribute to physical symptoms such as chronic tension, fatigue, digestive issues, insomnia, headaches or pain. Our sessions may help you better understand and support the connection between the nervous system, body and emotional wellbeing.
-
Yes, absolutely. Online sessions are available worldwide via Teams. Many clients find online somatic therapy deeply supportive and effective from the comfort of their own space. You can remain seated throughout the session and explore the practices gently and comfortably from your chair. In-person sessions are also available in Hertford, UK.

A 60 min session is $120, about £90. We can also book 75 or 90 mins depending on what is right for you.
Some people find big shifts can happen in just a few sessions, and for others longer time is needed to work through deeper and more complex patterns.
I usually recommend at least 3-6 sessions together to experience meaningful, lasting change.
